I been waitin' such a long time for "Spring"-time 🐝🌷 I think we all have. This last winter had some beautiful moments, but it was a beast up here in Michigan. I was cleaning my car off between storms, just so I could make it to the studio. This whole song is very new actually, even the instrumental was all born here in the last few weeks. It's a spring baby. I spend a lot of time looking at nature, even during the regular day I have a nice view, so this song was easy because the birds and bees and chipmunks, squirrels, dragonflies, frogs and whatever else. We are all chillin' here lakeside. Turtles, can't forget those guys, oh and all the fish! There's a lot of friends out there.
East West Hollywood Strings on the track! 🎤 It really just updated the Opus Player for this virtual instrument, and I picked a patch at random to test it. Then I started playing this string part for the chorus, basically right away. In that moment, I already knew I was prolly gonna need to get to work on a new instrumental. Just in time to get the new drums, Superior Drummer 3 too. And new reverb sauce!
