And what happened to that "Cloud" EP project? You might be wondering since I wrote a whole article about it and changed the website graphics to cloud theme. It's actually still in progress; it just grew. Hope you all are enjoying "Lucid Dreams 2," that one sets the stage. 🎵 Those cloud specific songs are still floating around and well on their way. This other newer one is probably coming out first, "Money." I just finished tracking vocals this week, hopefully. Will def be editing those a bit. I may not release it as soon as it's done. I had to update "Lucid Dreams 2" a few times after I already put it out, so I want to be sure it's ready this time.
Have I ever mentioned how difficult "Lucid Dreams 2" is for me to play? Both hands at the same time is challenging, and the arpeggios jump around a bit. I actually practiced it a lot this summer. It was originally written on guitar, and released on the "A Spiral Staircase" album. back in 2011, although the song is from 2007 or maybe even 2006. I can't remember now. It was like it was whispered in my ear, that melody. I love it! It's a special guest on this new album, now on piano though! 🎹
"Sometimes" has lyrics now, and may progress sooner than others, although it's also still newer than the cloud ones. "Summer Day" almost was released already, and probably will be soon. It's part of the original "Cloud" concept, and so is "Not Very Far Now." I really like that one now; I just got stuck on the vocals for the chorus.
